PRIORITY AXIS 14 ‘CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT PROMOTION OF RESOURCE EFFICIENCY (RUE)’

Further to the letter of formal notice No. οικ. 5101/28.4.2016 Call for Proposals, with Code: 14.6i.26-27.1 of the Special Management Service for the submission of proposals under Priority Axis 14 “Conservation and Protection of the Environment – Promotion of Resource Efficiency (RES)”, of the Operational Programme “Transport Infrastructure, Environment & Sustainable Development”, co-financed by the Cohesion Fund.

The object of the proposed project is the development of actions for the integrated waste management in the Municipality of Glyfada, with the development of a new program – stream for the collection of Biowaste and Organic Waste.

Regarding the new biowaste collection stream that will be created with the supply of brown bins, the functionality of the operation is ensured by the Municipality’s commitment to transfer the collected waste to the composting unit in Fili (Integrated Waste Management Facility OEDA West Attica), aiming to produce high quality soil conditioner (compost) from pre-sorted organic waste.

The functionality of the operation is also ensured by the correct positioning of the bins and the open bins, taking into account the existing network of bins for mixed waste and the existing system of sorting recyclable materials at source. This practice helps to facilitate easy adoption and adaptation by users (residents, businesses), avoiding reactions or complaints during their placement.

SUB-ACTIVITY 2: SUPPLY OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE CREATION OF A NEW STREAM FOR THE COLLECTION OF BIO-WASTE AND ORGANICS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GLYFADA

230.000,00 € (incl. VAT).

The operation has been included in the Operational Programme Transport Infrastructure, Environment & Sustainable Development 2014 – 2020 under Priority Axis 14 (Cohesion Fund), code MIS 5001853. The contract is financed by the European Union (Priority Axis 14 – Cohesion Fund) with 85% and by national resources through the EIF with 15%.

The contractual scope of this notice is subdivided into the following sections:

• SECTION 1 : “Supply of 250 pieces of biowaste collection bins with a capacity of 1.100 liters each”, with an estimated value of 106.855,00 € plus VAT.
• SECTION 2: “Supply of 10 pieces of open green waste collection vessels (skipcontainers) with a capacity of 8 cubic meters each”, estimated value 38.710,87 € plus VAT.
• SECTION 3 : “Supply of 200 pieces of organic waste composting bins of 300 liters capacity each”, estimated value 32.258,00 € plus VAT.
• SECTION 4 : “Supply of 500 pieces of household collectors for the transport of organic waste with a capacity of 8-10 litres each”, estimated value 7.660,00 € plus VAT.
  
  

SUB-ACTIVITY 3: SUPPLY OF MACHINERY FOR THE CREATION OF A NEW STREAM FOR THE COLLECTION OF BIOWASTE AND ORGANIC WASTE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GLYFADA

In the framework of the co-funded project “ACTIONS FOR THE COMPLETE WASTE MANAGEMENT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GLYFADA” (MIS 5001853). The indicative total budgeted expenditure amounts to 411.680,00 € (incl. VAT).

The operation has been included in the Operational Programme Transport Infrastructure, Environment & Sustainable Development 2014 – 2020 under Priority Axis 14 (Cohesion Fund) MIS code 5001853. The contract is financed by the European Union (Priority Axis 14 – Cohesion Fund) with 85% and by national resources through the EIF with 15%.

The contractual scope of this notice is subdivided into the following sections:

• SECTION 1 : “Supply of one (1) press-type refuse collection vehicle with a capacity of 16 m3”, estimated value 145.000 € plus VAT, with CPV 34144512-0 “Refuse collection vehicles with compactor”.
• SECTION 2 : “Supply of one (1) refuse collection vehicle with a skip loader”, with an estimated value of 115.000 € plus VAT, with CPV 34144510-6 “Refuse collection vehicles”.
• SECTION 3 : “Supply of one (1) tractor-driven branch splitter”, with an estimated value of 72.000 € plus VAT, with CPV 34223300-9 “Trailers”.
