“Black out – The Sequel”: a stunning interactive performance

Laughter and emotion, strong emotions through excellent performances, in an interactive performance with many messages, last night at the Glyfada Festival !

Dimitris Giotis, director and protagonist, together with the timeless Nelly Gini, Daisy Sebekopoulou, Maria Drakopoulou and Martha Politou gave their best, presenting a play that is both topical and enjoyable.

With caustic humour and a satirical mood, great truths were told about today’s society. Dimitris Yiotis descended several times into the audience, making the viewers participants in the action.

The Mayor of Glyfada Giorgos Papanikolaou, who watched the performance from the stands along with the people, was not exempt from the clever lines of Dimitris Giotis, who thanked him from the heart for the wonderful events of the Glyfada Festival and asked him questions from the microphone, as well as to all the spectators.

It was another great night of this festival that has stolen hearts.

The Acting Municipal Councillor for Culture, Georgia Vamvakerou, who is responsible for the coordination of the events, welcomed the people yesterday, along with the Deputy Mayor of Social Care and Solidarity, Eleni Karahou – Skoutari, who thanked our fellow citizens for their valuable contribution of food and medicines for the social structures of the Municipality of Glyfada. The performance was also attended by the Municipal Councillor, former Deputy Mayor Marios Kasseris.

On the ramparts, as every night, and the Acting Municipal Councillor George Tavernarakis, who, together with the courteous employees of the Glyfada Municipal Police, ensures the safety of the venue and the spectators.

Among the attendees, Alexandra Gravas, soprano with a recognized career abroad, Yannis Kazanidis, communication consultant and PR manager, Thodoris and Athena Tranouli, who designed the costumes for the performance, and Vassilis Platakis, theatrical producer and director, Thodoris Romanidis, actor, Akis Melis, composer, Sylvia Antonarou, President of DYAMEA, Mika Papazoglou, President of the Association of Asia Minor of Glyfada “The Arghenon”, as well as the internationally recognized painters Giota Drettaki and Matina Yaga.
