Concerts, theatre, cinema in the programme of the Glyfada 2025 Festival

The beloved summer festival comes on July 9 with free events for all and promises unique and unforgettable evenings for everyone. The institution established by the Mayor of Glyfada George Papanikolaou is here again with the best theatrical performances of the season, great concerts, excellent movies. The first part of the festival runs from 9 July to 6 August, followed by the second part, with a short break in August. At the same time, the Children’s Festival has been taking place since 1 July in the Children’s Playgrounds and the Circulation Park.

In the 3rd Marina the Festival programme starts with the Dionysiou brothers and a tribute to their father, Stratos Dionysiou (Wednesday 9 July). Part A also includes concerts with: Anastasios Rammos (Saturday 12 July), Dimitris Zervoudakis / Melina Kana (Sunday 13 July), Katerina Katsigiannis (Tuesday 15 July), Paschalis (Monday 21 July), a tribute to Lavrentis Machairitsas with: Dionysis Tsaknis, Christos Thevaios, Mirella Pachou, Steve Tesser, special participation.

Responsible for the events of the Glyfada 2025 Festival is the Municipal Councillor for Culture Georgia Vamvakerou.

Admission to the events is FREE for all, residents and visitors of our city. Instead of a ticket, the Municipality of Glyfada collects food and medicine for its social structures.

After the end of the concerts and adult theatre performances, two buses of the municipal transport will be parked, as in previous years, at the area of Marina C and will transport people free of charge to the neighbourhoods of Glyfada, following the following two routes:

ROUTINE 1 : 3rd Marina, Eleftheriou Venizelou, Vouliagmenis, Iasonidou, Kon. Athanatu/Agios Tryphon, Eleftherou Anthropou, Karaiskakis Square, Mikra Asia, Gennimata, Mystra.

ROUTINE 2 : 3rd Marina, Zerva, Katraki Square, Agios Nikolaos, Riga Feraiou, Gounari, Ephorus, Agia Triada, Naxos, Olga, Papandreou/DEH, Delphi, Ithaca, Mistra.
