The Municipality of Glyfada is implementing a comprehensive digital transformation programme, aiming to improve the quality of life of its citizens and create a smarter, sustainable and accessible city.

Through the funding of the “Digital Transformation 2021-2027” programme , the Municipality is implementing innovative actions such as:

• Smart accessibility systems and walkways for people with disabilities

• Smart waste bins and lighting interface with central management system

• Digital platform for the management of vulnerable groups

• Organisation of the Movement Office and vehicle fleet

• Management of sport, culture and leisure facilities

• Water quality measurement systems

• Electronic billing

The operation, with a total budget of 2.100.719,10€, is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national resources.

These actions enhance the efficiency of municipal services, promote transparency, improve accessibility and the environment, and contribute to the creation of a modern “smart” city for all.
