Millions of our ancestors are killed, millions of others are uprooted, taking the
road of refugee, longing to find a way and a place to survive.Years
of war, years of despair. A new Greece begins to be created, finds its borders, struggles for its people.
The oratorio IONIA-GATE IN CHRONOS, comes to praise the honour and pride
of all of us. To glorify our memories, our sacrifices, our life, our achievements, our identity.

It consists of 23 brand new, wonderful, contemporary songs, interspersed with short narrative texts of anthropocentric character.
On the occasion of the greatest catastrophe in our modern history, we start a new
musical journey from life in the cities of Asia Minor, we move on to the war and the
crush, we continue to the huge waves of refugees, the efforts to integrate and
integrate them into their motherland, the miracle of survival, the achievements, and
we reach today, the situation of modern Greece.
A modern, emotional, anti-war musical journey that bridges these 103
years, yesterday, today and tomorrow, that unfolds unknown aspects, simply and
comprehensively, aiming at our empathy and awareness.Giving the
opportunity to all ages of viewers to learn and feel what is shocking to
our roots, our origin.
This is the first, after years, new complete musical work that
dares to touch facts and nuances, to approach the
human side of history with a contemporary view.
A landmark concert, which stamps indelibly and in an extremely moving and dynamic
way the drama of uprooting, the expectations and optimism for the beginning of a
new life, the creation of an entire homeland.A new and thrilling musical work
that must be heard in the ears and hearts of all of us.
On 7 October 2023 it was presented in a magnificent concert at the Herodesion with 137
artists on stage. It has been performed in several municipalities of Attica with smaller
ensembles of course, as well as in Samos after being selected by the Ministry of
Shipping. In all music digital platforms, spotify etc., the
live recording of the Herodion concert is available, as well as in large
record stores it is released in CD format.
