👉 10 October has been established as World Mental Health Day by the World Health Federation since 1992 to raise awareness of mental illness and mobilise society to support mental health, a basic human right. The mentally ill should not be “invisible” but should coexist as equal members of a society.
Mental health is burdened by various social, psychological and biological factors that can affect the psyche of a person at any stage of life.
Worldwide, one in eight people (adolescents and adults) suffer from mental illness and this has a negative impact on their physical health, well-being and interaction with their family, social and professional environment.

The event is finished.
