“And here we are, even in 2025, the play by Iakovos Campanellis Fairy Tale Without a Name appears to remind us of our relative kinship with some of its heroes!
What happens in a kingdom, in a country, in a society where you can find many leaders but the leader is rare?
What happens when the whole seeks an inspiring word, an inspiring position and attitude, to inspire and follow a struggle, however hard it may be?
And as long as we are like our leaders and they are like us, this utopian leader will be a rare phenomenon, a phenomenon that our democracy and our prayers seek in those young people who manage not to become one with what is living around them.
Not to live forever in a fairy tale without a name, but to change with their dreams and their efforts what we have not managed to do.”
The students of the theatre group of the 2nd Gymnasium and 2nd Lyceum of Glyfada and the teacher – actor – director Dimitris Marizas, in collaboration with the Directorates and the Parents and Guardians Associations of the two schools, organize under the auspices of the Municipality of Glyfada a wonderful performance with free admission.
