Glyfada Festival : An institution that produces culture and writes history!

Inspiration, imagination, passion, work and a lot of love. This is what lies behind the dreamy nights, by the sea, under the stars, in our Glyfada. A Mayor who inspired and created the institution, which produces culture and writes history. Glyfada Festival: A social offer for all, residents and visitors of our city. With films, great concerts and the best theatrical performances every season, touring all over Greece but here, in our Glyfada, they are free. A small miracle, created with great love.

Now that the first part is completed (on August 6) and in anticipation of the second part that holds great surprises (stay tuned), the Mayor of Glyfada George Papanikolaou stresses:

“You should always put a little imagination in everything you do:
For example, where there used to be an abandoned space, in the 3rd Marina of Glyfada, we put our imagination to work and envisioned a place where thousands of people every summer will enjoy theatre, music and cinema by the sea.
And we did it!
The summer nights in Glyfada have acquired a new colour, a new sound, a new culture.
And this year, as you can see in the pictures, the third marina was filled to capacity for all the theatrical performances and concerts, in the first part of the Glyfada Municipality Festival, which continues until August 6 with the screening of films for young and old alike.
The Festival takes a short break immediately afterwards and we come back in full force with the second part, from the end of August until the end of September.
