Ioanna Sevopoulou enchanted the audience of Glyfada with her sensual voice
Another dreamy night at the city’s open-air seaside theatre, under the almost full moon, yesterday, for thousands of spectators at the Glyfada Festival.
“It is a great honor for us to see such a response every night and a great pleasure to organize such beautiful cultural events in our city. It is a breath for all of us these events, an opportunity that we are given to have fun together in this beautiful place”, said the Mayor of Glyfada George Papanikolaou, who attended the whole concert, along with the Acting Municipal Councillor for Culture Georgia Vamvakerou, who is responsible for the coordination of the Festival events, as well as the Municipal Councillor, former Deputy Mayor Spyros Dimou.
With music and songs from the world cinema, Ioanna Sevopoulou sang in five languages and made the audience go wild. She was accompanied by a group of great musicians, led by conductor Konstantinos Pagiatis. The video art compositions of the performance were the creations of the inspirational Konstantinos Garini. With the directorial baton of Fotis Petridis, we listened to songs from Coppola to Almodovar and relived the atmosphere and emotions that these films gave us.
