This year the Municipality of Glyfada is organizing Parents’ School Groups, on the initiative of Mayor George Papanikolaou.
The Department of Welfare, Social Policy and Gender Equality, in the context of psychosocial support for parents and families, is once again implementing the programme, with the aim of informing parents, strengthening the parental role, exchanging experiences and knowledge and supporting the family bond.
The action is coordinated by the Deputy Mayor of Social Care and Solidarity Eleni Karahou – Skoutari.
The programme is addressed to parents of pre-school, school and teenage children.
The coordination of each group is done by the psychologists of the Social Service of the Municipality of Glyfada Evangelia Theou and Iris Panagiotopoulou.
The meetings will take place on Wednesday
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., at the Municipal Conservatory of Glyfada (199 D. Gounari).
The program is free of charge and includes 5 meetings of two hours each, which will take place every 15 days, with topics related to the education and psycho-emotional development of children, through the prism of communication in the family.
Their duration will be from 22/10/2025 to 17/12/2025.
