In announcing the start of this year’s program, the mayor emphasizes: “Summer in Glyfada means fun, sports, hanging out with friends, and making new friends.” ​

As we have been doing for many years now in our city, we keep our schoolyards open during the summer so that children can play, exercise, and have a good time in organized and safe environments.

This year, we are expanding and strengthening the program by keeping four schools in Glyfada open throughout July and August.

​Children’s safety is always our top priority. For this reason, every school that remains open will be staffed by security personnel from our municipality.

Starting tomorrow (July 8, 2026), the schools that will remain open on weekdays and weekends are:

📌​ 3rd Elementary School

📌 8th Elementary School

📌 11th Elementary School ​

Hours of Operation:

Every day and on weekends from 🕕 18:00 to 🕙 22:00
