👉 Afantastic Street Party is coming at Zisimopoulou 💃🕺 on the eve of New Year’s Eve #staycoordinated

Dream events in a fairytale city ! Glyfada in red lived an amazing night yesterday, an unforgettable day today, with wild partying, dancing, great weather and thousands of smiles! From early afternoon until midnight on Saturday and from 11:00 in the morning until the early afternoon hours of Sunday, the whole city became a huge dance floor, music echoed everywhere, Santa Claus handed out balloons, and the Santa Vassilitses with fun and smiles did not stop dancing. Last night there were events for the children in the spectacularly decorated Poets’ Way and concerts in Esperidon Square, with the choir of the 1st High School and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Glyfada under the direction of the experienced conductor Nikos Kabiotis opening the evening and Evangelia and Nicole Saravakou taking the baton. Batala Atenas roused young and old with their drums, giving pulse and a special note to this great celebration, as well as to today’s Red Sunday, in our Terpsithea. The train of the Municipality of Glyfada dressed in festive costume, as well as Santa Claus’ carriages were circulating in the streets spreading joy and countless balloons, jugglers, stilt walkers and actions for children completed the festive scenery, while in 1:00 today at noon the fun took off with the concert of Dina Evaggelopoulou, as well as Irene Trost, who even sang for free and the money went to VIMA ZOIS.

👉 The Mayor of Glyfada George Papanikolaou with his wife Eva and their children celebrated with thousands of residents and visitors of our city and exchanged wishes for a Merry Christmas. Almost the entire Municipal Council was present at these amazing celebrations, organized under the care of Georgia Vamvakerou, the Acting Municipal Councillor for Culture, and the Deputy Mayor of Education, Lifelong Learning and Youth, Annie Kauka, in cooperation with the Glyfada Trade Association and its President Maria Apostolaki.
