Social Grocery
The Municipality of Glyfada in its effort to alleviate the daily needs of its economically disadvantaged citizens and to address the economic crisis in the difficult times we are going through, created the Social Grocery of the Municipality. A service where socially vulnerable citizens can obtain food, cleaning and hygiene items, clothing, clothing, footwear and toys.
The products made available comply with all the safety standards required by law, ensure all hygiene and storage conditions, and come from shops, selected suppliers and offers from citizens.
Basic supporting documents
1. Application by the interested party,
2. Recent Photo
3. Photocopy of your Identity Card or Passport,
4. Copy of the last submitted Income Tax Return (form
E1) and the corresponding Tax Return, i.e. Tax Year 2024, of the
the applicant and all accompanying adult members,
5. A copy of the 2025 ENFIA statement of the applicant and all cohabitants
adult members,
6. Declaration of the Law 1599/86 with authentic signature, which will show
that the applicant and his/her dependants are not entitled to the benefit of the
TEBA programme,
7. Recent Unemployment Certificate from OAED (if available),
8. Residential Tenancy Agreement or Title Deed or Proof of Electricity Bill
In the case of homeless people, the residence is certified by a social report of the Social
Officer following an investigation,
9. Certificate of Family Status
Additional supporting documents (if applicable)
1. Certificate of Permanent Residence from the Municipality,
2. Documents for legal residence for immigrants, political refugees, expatriates,
3. Decision of the Health Committee (KEPA) for disability with a disability rate of 67%
and above,
4. In case of financial weakness, a photocopy of the first page of the booklet
health or a recent OGA pension statement for senior citizens,
5. At In case of divorce, the divorce decree and a custody order for minor children or
any document certifying single parenthood and custody,
6. In case of widowhood, a death certificate,
7. Any other information deemed useful by the Social Service of the Municipality
(depending on the applicant’s situation),
8. Social history, prepared by the Social Worker of the Facility, the
accompanied by the relevant supporting documents.
