Social Soup Kitchen

The Social Soup Kitchen of the Municipality of Glyfada serves people who have been affected by the economic and social crisis of the current era and seeks to relieve those who are no longer able to meet basic needs such as food. The Rationing Facility provides food services to the beneficiaries who have been included in the Social Grocery program and their dependents, on a daily basis, in compliance with the applicable health regulations.

The products for the meals are provided by local businesses, food production workshops and crafts (bakeries, bakeries, restaurants, etc.), as well as by volunteers. At the same time, the Food Service Facility has a policy of collecting surplus products from related businesses and citizens.

In addition, it provides psychosocial empowerment and support services, which are served through the Social Worker, aiming at the social integration of the beneficiaries.

In the case of homeless people, the residence is certified by a social report of the Social

Officer following an investigation,

2. Documents for legal residence for immigrants, political refugees, expatriates,

3. Decision of the Health Committee (KEPA) for disability with a disability rate of 67%

and above,

4. In case of financial weakness, a photocopy of the first page of the booklet
