Summer camp
Every year, the Municipality of Glyfada organises a summer camp programme, which is aimed at children aged 5 to 14 years old, residents of Glyfada. The aim of the programme is to provide knowledge, entertainment and creative activities for the children and of course to support the families of the city’s residents after the end of the school year. The total duration of the summer camp is five weeks, during which the program operates daily and registration is done online.
Children participating in the programme have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge, to get in touch with a variety of sports (athletics, basketball, swimming, etc.), to connect with cultural and artistic events, to get to know great athletes, to have fun with adventures of film heroes and to socialise. There are also educational excursions, creative games and cultural events. There is a first come, first served policy, but as every year, every effort is made to ensure that all children who register will be able to take part in the summer camp.
