A diamond in our Glyfada ! In a high quality and functional environment, with modern architectural design and innovative construction options, the Music and Culture Centre opens its gates in the summer ! On a plot of land bequeathed to the Municipality of Glyfada 60 years ago – in 1965 – and which has remained unused ever since, this great project constitutes a new state-of-the-art landmark for our city and makes it a focus of culture.
“What you see in the photos is something like the last notes in a score: The final stage of the works for the construction of the new Glyfada Cultural Center, a new state-of-the-art landmark for our city, at the intersection of Bakoyannis and Panagouli streets,” stresses the Mayor of Glyfada, George Papanikolaou.
He adds. Many years of long years of work.
All that is now behind us.
In front of us is a beautiful new building, which will be delivered to our city this summer.
With classrooms for the elementary conservatory, a concert hall and many more spaces for our children and the residents of our city.
Spaces for artists’ exhibitions, for educational activities, for workshops, etc.
There are even thoughts of a recording studio!
To help young musicians in particular in their beginnings.
