“The feeling that comes out of the soul animates the clarinet and makes it stand out”, Vassilis Saleas used to emphasize and last night, at the seaside theatre of Glyfada, under the “blood moon”, this became reality. The sound of Vassilis Saleas’ clarinet was incredibly sensual, accompanying the song of his brother, Sarantis Saleas, and making it all the more sublime.
Famous orchestral themes, personal compositions from their rich discography, traditional music and a potpourri of songs by Tolis Voskopoulos, composed a wonderful musical evening, enjoyable as all the others at the Glyfada Festival, which is organized on the initiative of the Mayor of Glyfada George Papanikolaou and is very popular.
During the concert, the talented Despina Lagonidou performed songs with her seductive voice.
The responsibility and coordination of the events is the responsibility of the Municipal Councillor for Culture, Georgia Vamvakerou, who welcomed the people yesterday and thanked our fellow citizens for their offer of food and medicine for the social structures of the Municipality of Glyfada. With her, the Deputy Mayors Dimitris Nitsiopoulos, Mary Miliaresi and Eleni Karahou – Skoutari, the Councillors, former Deputy Mayors Spyros Dimou and Stelios Kouroupakis and the President of Golf Dimitris Akrivos. In the audience were, along with their parents, the two young grandchildren of Sarantis Saleas, who watched their grandfather sing for the first time !
